Another stubborn chimney fire! CHFD crews worked diligently attempting to locate the heavy fire which was contained, in what seemed to be a hidden vault, within the chimney/fireplace. Over the next to 2 hours, companies utilized chains, hand tools, & extinguishers to control the tough fire.
