01/09 East Hampton MVA - 2 Lifestars
Colchester sent an Engine (Helicopter LZ) & a 2nd due Ambulance to East Hampton for a single vehicle crash w/ extrication. Colchester's Amb transported 2 PT's w/ life threatening injuries to the LZ (which was located at the East Hampton Fireman's Field on Route 16).

A wind chill warning is in effect for all of Connecticut.

01/02 MVA & Medical
While Colchester was handling the Structure fire on Lakeview Dr, Salem FD handled an MVA w/ extrication on Carli Boulevard & Bozrah FD responded to an ALS medical call on Canterbury Ln in Colchester. Thanks for the help guys!
01/02 Structure Fire
A chimney fire broke out into a structure fire during a mid afternoon snow storm on Thursday. Companies arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the rear of a 1½ story wood frame residence. The initial engine company laid a supply line & put 3 lines into operation on multiple floors. Vent & search crews were able to locate the fire in the walls & floors surrounding the chimney. Operations lasted approximately an hour until the fire was placed under control. Units cleared around 1500hrs after extensive overhaul was completed. No injuries - A K9 was saved by a bystander who kicked the rear door in & rescued it. Nice job sir!

01/01 Vehicle Fire
A jeep caught fire inside the garage of a split level 2 story wood frame house. The home owners were able to push the vehicle out into the driveway to keep the house from catching fire. 4 vehicle exposures & the exposure of the garage (<5ft away) were kept in check w/ only 1 of the exposure vehicles damaged from fire. No injuries. Units cleared shortly after.
