05/16 Dryer Fire
Colchester & Yantic (FAST) responded for a Dryer fire inside of a local group home. Car 1 arrived to find a 1.5 story, wood frame, group home w/ light smoke showing. The fire was contained to the dryer & k/d quickly by on site staff. Engine 1 & Tanker 1 held the scene & all others were dismissed.

05/05 MVA Car vs. Tree
Car 1 arrived to find a medium sized sedan vs. tree w/ Hvy damage, an active fuel leak, & 1 pt entrapped. Rescue 1 put their tools to work while the Engine company placed a foam line into operation to suppress the gasoline vapors. Pt was extricated & transported ALS to an area hospital.
